FAQ
- Does it cost anything?
- No. It's free—no sign-up, no install. Just open it in your browser and play.
- What can I play it on?
- It's designed for a phone held upright. It runs in a desktop browser too, but this is a game best played in bed, late at night.
- How long does it take?
- About 20–30 minutes per playthrough. There are six endings, and collecting them all makes a new item appear on the title screen.
- Can I save?
- The game autosaves every morning, and you can save manually from the night menu. Data is stored in your browser, so open it on the same device and browser to pick up where you left off with "Continue" (clearing your browser data erases it).
- Do the call seconds really pass in real time?
- Yes. On the call screen the seconds tick by on a real clock, and you decide when to hang up (they run faster than real time to keep the pace up).
- What is "4 minutes 32 seconds"?
- We can't tell you here. You'll find out when you reach the end of the game.
- Can I play in Japanese or Korean?
- Yes. Both the landing page and the game itself are available in the original Japanese and in Korean. → 日本語版 / 한국어판
- Is it based on something?
- It's based on a novel of the same name. The game takes its rule—"anyone you call can only tell the truth, but every minute costs a year of your life"—and turns it directly into the player's decisions.
